Uttarakhand News: In a significant move to support the backbone of the state’s economy, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has announced a new pension scheme for farmers. Recognizing the vital role that farmers play, the government will provide a monthly pension of ₹1200 to farmers aged 60 and above.

Chief Minister Dhami emphasized the importance of economically empowering farmers, referring to them as the foundation of the state’s economy. “Our farmer brothers and sisters are the backbone of our economy. To make them economically strong, we are providing a monthly pension of ₹1200 to farmers above 60 years of age,” he stated.
