Uttarakhand News: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for approving the state’s request for additional electricity from the central pool. The Power Ministry has confirmed that Uttarakhand will receive a 100-megawatt power supply, addressing the state’s energy needs.

Gratitude for Central Support

Chief Minister Dhami thanked the Prime Minister for his swift response to the request for additional power. “I am thankful to the Prime Minister. I requested him to provide us with electricity from the central pool as we are not able to generate the required amount,” said Dhami.

Power Ministry’s Approval

The Chief Minister announced the approval, stating, “We have received a letter from the Power Ministry. We will get a 100-megawatt power supply.” This additional electricity will help Uttarakhand manage its power requirements more effectively, ensuring a steady supply for both residents and businesses.

The decision comes as a relief for Uttarakhand, which has been struggling to generate sufficient electricity to meet its needs. The additional power from the central pool will help mitigate the shortages and support the state’s development initiatives.
