Yogi Adityanath on Akhilesh Yadav: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a scathing attack on the Samajwadi Party (SP) and its leader Akhilesh Yadav during a public event in Ayodhya. The remarks came shortly after Akhilesh took a swipe at him, referring to the UP CM as the “leader of goons.” In response, Adityanath compared the Samajwadi Party’s alleged criminal background to a dog’s tail, saying, “Just like a dog’s tail can’t be straightened, the Samajwadi Party’s criminals can never change.” He accused the SP of continuously threatening women’s safety and assured the public that his government is committed to bringing these wrongdoers to justice.
Yogi Adityanath Takes Aim at Opposition Parties
Addressing the political tensions between his party and the opposition, the CM Yogi Adityanath remarked that his government’s progress was making the Samajwadi Party, Congress, and Bahujan Samaj Party uneasy. “The development work we are doing, the security we are ensuring—naturally, this upsets them,” Adityanath claimed, pointing to his government’s achievements in public welfare and law enforcement.
Akhilesh Yadav Previous Remarks
Yogi Adityanath’s comments came in response to Akhilesh Yadav’s earlier remarks. Akhilesh addressed the media and confidently said, “Take a look at my picture and his—tell me who looks like the mafia?”
Akhilesh also attacked the BJP on broader policy issues. While discussing the proposed “One Nation, One Election” policy, he accused the ruling party of presenting incomplete proposals, pointing out that the women’s reservation bill was introduced without a clear implementation plan. “The BJP claims they want ‘One Nation, One Election,’ but in reality, it’s about ‘One Nation, One Election, and One Donation’,” Akhilesh remarked, accusing the government of working in its own interests.
Inauguration of ₹1,000 Crore Projects in Ayodhya
The UP Chief Minister was speaking after inaugurating and laying foundation stones for a whopping 83 development projects in Ayodhya, valued at over ₹1,000 crore. He highlighted these projects as part of the broader vision to transform Ayodhya into India’s first solar city. The CM also credited the BJP’s “double-engine” government—meaning the BJP-led governments at both the state and central levels—for pushing forward the state’s development agenda.
“These development efforts are not just limited to infrastructure. We’re working on improving investment, creating jobs, ensuring farmers’ welfare, and empowering women,” said Yogi Adityanath. He further congratulated Ayodhya’s residents for being at the forefront of these initiatives.
