The weather is undergoing a change in Uttarakhand. Along with snowfall and cold temperatures, the region is now expected to witness the onset of fog. From mountainous areas to the plains, the weather is starting to show variations. According to the Director of the Meteorological Center, Bikram Singh, the next few days may see dry weather in the state.
Concerns may increase in the mountainous regions, while areas like Udham Singh Nagar and Haridwar, particularly, have been issued a yellow alert regarding dense fog. Mild fog-related issues may also arise in and around Dehradun.
The weather is dry in Dehradun. In the last two days, there has been a slight increase in temperatures. However, there is a noticeable chill in the air during mornings and evenings. According to the Meteorological Department, during this period, most regions may experience a decrease in temperatures by one to two degrees Celsius. Uttarakhand is currently experiencing dry weather, and in most areas, bright sunshine prevails. The increase in cloud cover in recent days has led to a rise in both maximum and minimum temperatures. Nevertheless, the mornings and evenings remain cool.
Palpable Drop in Temperature
According to the Meteorological Department, in the coming days, there may be a drop of one to two degrees Celsius in most regions. Uttarakhand is witnessing dry weather, and the majority of areas are basking in the warmth of the winter sun. The increase in cloud cover has led to a rise in both maximum and minimum temperatures. Despite this, the mornings and evenings continue to be cool.
Concerns in Mountainous Regions
Director Bikram Singh suggests that in the next few days, the state may experience dry weather. This could lead to increased problems in mountainous regions. In contrast, especially in Udham Singh Nagar and Haridwar, a yellow alert has been issued for dense fog. Areas around Dehradun may also face mild fog-related issues.
