Abdul Qavi, who was absconding in the BSP MLA Raju Pal murder case, has surrendered. There was a reward of one lakh rupees on him. The CBI was probing the matter. He was wanted in the Raju Pal murder case. Former MLA Raju Pal was murdered on 25 January 2005. It is being told that as soon as the name of the Qavi came up in the CBI investigation, he absconded. Since then CBI, STF and Kaushambi police were looking for him. Atiq Ahmed’s henchman Abdul Qavi has surrendered in Lucknow CBI court. He was absconding for the last 18 years and surrendered after tricking the UP police.

After the Umesh Pal murder case, the phase of action against Abdul Qavi started. Abdul Qadir, brother of Abdul Qavi, was sent to jail by the Kaushambi police. In the raid at the house, weapons were also recovered from Abdul Qavi’s place. Abdul Qavi was dodging the police for 18 years.
Eventually, the tightening of screws by the investigating agencies had an effect. Abdul Qavi’s property in Kaushambi has been attached. It is being told that Abdul Qadir, brother of Abdul Qavi, was sent to Kaushambi police jail. Along with this, weapons were also recovered in the raid at his house.
