On the occasion of the inauguration of ‘Kashi Tamil Sangamam’, Chief Minister Yogi started his address in Tamil and welcomed everyone and said that this event is bringing alive Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’ in the nectar of independence.

Jyotirlinga established by Lord Shri Ram
Adityanath said, “There is a holy Jyotirlinga established by Lord Shri Ram at Shri Rameshwaram and Lord Adi Vishweshwara seated in Kashi is worshiped as a holy Jyotirlinga. Both Jyotirlingas are central to the relationship between Kashi and Tamil Nadu. Adi Shankaracharya carried forward this relationship bridge built through Lord Shri Ram and Lord Shiva by establishing Holy Peeths in all the four corners of India. And today Prime Minister Narendra Modi is giving momentum to this Mahayagya.
He said, “There is an ancient temple of Lord Vishwanath in Tenkasi, Tamil Nadu. Tenkasi means Kashi of the South. The emperor of Pandya dynasty brought Shivling from Kashi and installed it in Tenkasi. There is also Sivakasi in Tamil Nadu.’
He said, “Because of the religious importance of Kashi, people from all parts of the country have been coming here for centuries. This holy city situated on the banks of Ganga ji remains the center of religion, culture and spiritual consciousness of India. Similarly, Tamil Nadu has been the center of knowledge, art and culture since ancient times, which was expanded by kings like Pandya, Chola, Pallava.
The Chief Minister said, “All Indian languages include everyone in themselves. This inclusion has been a source of cultural inspiration which has maintained harmony and harmony in the society.
