Ayodhya is all set to expand its boundaries

Ayodhya, the holy city will be expanded by the Ayodhya Master Plan 2031 to the limits of the 84 Kosi Parikrama Marg, which runs through the five districts of Basti, Ayodhya, Ambedkar Nagar, Barabanki, and Gonda.

During a review meeting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reportedly gave instructions in this respect, according to a state government spokesman.

He have instructed officials for the adoption of a standard building code in areas close to the Ram Janmabhoomi. This will guarantee a uniform colour for all nearby structures, including dwellings.

The usage of solar-powered boats and eco friendly vehicles on the Panch Kosi Parikrama Marg, which spans nearly the entire city, will now be the focus in Ayodhya.

Ayodhya Vision Document-2047

The Chief Minister emphasised the importance of following regulations in the road widening project and setting deadlines for the completion of each project listed in the Ayodhya Vision Document-2047.

Ayodhya should be developed as a model of urban development, he said, keeping its historical and cultural importance as the basis for development. He gave officials the go-ahead to crack down on all unauthorised and unplanned constructions in the city.

“People from across the world are waiting to see a ‘divya, bhavya aur navya’ Ayodhya. The 84-kosi traditional border should be made the basis of the city’s development. A vision document should be prepared which should form the basis of works. Prepare zonal plans which will provide direction to the development so that a curb can be put on illegal constructions,” Yogi said.
