Javed’s arrest comes after the police announced a reward of 25,000 rupees for any information leading to his capture. Javed’s Arrest and Surrender
Javed, the second suspect in the Budaun double murder case, was captured by the police after being on the run since the killings occurred. In a video released by ANI, Javed can be heard stating that he fled to Delhi immediately following the incident and later surrendered himself in Bareilly. Javed’s surrender provides crucial information for the ongoing investigation into the case.
Statements from Victims’ Family
Sangita, the mother of the victims, revealed that the accused, Sajid, had limited interaction with their family and would only visit their home for haircuts. She mentioned that Sajid had borrowed money from them previously and suspected his involvement with an organization linked to the crime. Sangita emphasized the need for the arrest of Javed’s brother, Sajid, to uncover the true motive behind the murders. Vinod Kumar, the victims’ father, urged the government to conduct a thorough investigation into the case.
Post-Mortem Report Findings
SSP Budaun, Alok Priyadarshi, revealed new details from the post-mortem report, indicating that the children were attacked with a total of 23 times. Ahan, the elder brother, suffered 9 stab wounds, whereas Ayush, the younger boy, endured 14 stab wounds. Additionally, Ayush sustained injuries to his neck and face, leading to shock and hemorrhage as the cause of death.
