On Tuesday, the police made an important disclosure in the matter of throwing a crude bomb near the house of gangster Atiq Ahmed’s lawyer in Prayagraj. The police commissioner issued a statement saying that the second case is being linked to the incident of bomb hurling at Atiq’s lawyer’s house.
The Police Commissioner of Prayagraj issued a statement saying, “On receiving information about a bomb in Gobar Gali in Katra, Colonelganj police is present on the spot. During the investigation, it came to light that the bomb was hurled in a dispute between the two parties. There is no casualty on the spot. Action is being taken regarding the whole matter. The talk of attack on Atiq Ahmed’s lawyer’s house is completely untrue. Please don’t spread misleading news.
Police said that on reaching the spot, it was found that a youth named Harshit Sonkar had some dispute with Raunak, Akash Singh and Chhote over money and because of this Sonkar chased Raunak, Akash and Chhote and hurled a crude bomb at them.
