Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) to finalize the handover of Indirapuram township to the Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation (GMC) by February of the upcoming year. The directive aims to expedite the resolution of differences between GDA and the municipal corporation. Seven colonies, including Indirapuram, are slated for transfer to the GMC.

During his visit to the National Capital Region (NCR), Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, along with officials, addressed the ongoing issue during a meeting with Sahibabad MLA Sunil Sharma and BJP councillors from Indirapuram. The directive includes the completion of pending infrastructure works, such as road repairs, sewer maintenance, and street lighting, before the township’s handover to the GMC.
