Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav has alleged that Union Budget presented by the Center is tailor made to bolster its 2024 parliamentary elections prospects. She further alleged that that the budget is disappointing and it completely ignores the railways.
Dimple Yadav : Centre presented the Budget ,keeping in mind the 2024 parliamentary elections
This is what she had to say, after the House was ajurned,
“It’s a Budget presented keeping the elections in mind. While the government has given some relaxations to the middle class, it has not said anything about the Minimum Support Price for farmers, employment and youth,”
She further alleged that she felt disappointed as Railways was completely ignored in the budget,
.”Railways are also ignored in this budget. It has been a disappointing budget,”
Akhilesh Yadav “Budget increases unemployment and inflation in the country
Meanwhile, Samajwadi President Akhilesh Yadav has also expressed his disappointment with the budget and has stated the budget of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) led central government increases inflation and unemployment in the country.
“The BJP is completing a decade of its budget, when it did not give anything to the public earlier, what can we expect now? The BJP’s budget increases inflation and unemployment. No hope of the farmers, labourers, youth, women, job professionals,”
Later, Akhilesh Yadav posted a video of a lion—apparetly a hungry lion—with the statement, “The hungry lion is upset because the BJP has neither developed any industrial unit in Uttar Pradesh in the last 10 years nor made any arrangements for my survival.”
He tweeted along with a video,
“Perhaps this hungry lion of Etawah Lion Safari is angry because the BJP government has neither given the right budget for its food and maintenance nor has it set up any manufacturing unit in UP to advocate for its Make-in-India programme in the last 10 years,”
