Ghaziabad News: The extension of the crucial ARAATIS corridor, a significant project in Delhi NCR, has commenced. Plans are underway to connect this corridor with Jevar Airport, as indicated by a visibility report sent to the government through YEIDA (Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority) by the NCR Planning Board. The Yogi government is expected to make a decision soon.
Ghaziabad MP V.K. Singh has advocated connecting Jevar Airport to the ARAATIS corridor, and the proposal is currently under consideration. The first phase of the ARAATIS corridor was inaugurated for public use on October 20, prompting the demand for its connection to Jevar Airport. A report for this route has been prepared by the NCR Planning Board following directives from YEIDA and the government.
Two Routes Proposed from Ghaziabad to Jevar Airport
The physical report for the corridor from Ghaziabad to Jevar Airport has been completed. The NCR Planning Board has suggested two routes for the ARAATIS corridor between Ghaziabad and Jevar Airport. The report has been sent to the Uttar Pradesh government through YEIDA, and the government’s approval is awaited. Union Minister General V.K. Singh has stated that the project will soon be linked to Jevar Airport.
