Ghaziabad News– In a significant boost for air travel connectivity, Air India Express has announced the commencement of direct flights from Ghaziabad’s Hindon Airport to Bengaluru, Goa, and Kolkata. Starting from August 1, 2024, the airline will operate 28 weekly flights, enhancing travel options for residents of Ghaziabad and surrounding areas.

The new flight routes will significantly benefit passengers from various cities in Western Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Haryana. Hindon Airport’s strategic location offers convenient access for travelers from regions including East Delhi, Noida, Alipur, Agra, Baghpat, Bulandshahr, Dadri, Dasna, Dehradun, Faridnagar, Hapur, Haridwar, Khekra, Loni, Meerut, Modinagar, Muradnagar, Nangloi Jat, Pilkhuwa, Panipat, Rishikesh, Saharanpur, and Sonipat.
Air India Express Managing Director Alok Singh announced the expansion during the CAPA Indian Aviation Summit, highlighting the airline’s focus on enhancing connectivity in the fast-growing domestic and short-haul international markets. In addition to the new domestic routes, the airline plans to add Kathmandu (Nepal) and Dhaka (Bangladesh) to its network.
Passengers can book tickets for the new flights on the Air India Express website, mobile app, and other booking platforms. Fares for these flights will start at ₹5,134, providing an affordable travel option for passengers.
