Ghaziabad News: NCRTC Launches ‘Namo Bharat Unplugged: Live Musical Fridays’ to Enhance Commuter Experience

This initiative not only supports local talent but also enhances the commuting experience, making the daily travel for passengers more enjoyable and culturally enriching.

Ghaziabad News– The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has introduced a new initiative called ‘Namo Bharat Unplugged: Live Musical Fridays’ to improve the commuting experience for passengers on the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor.

Under this initiative, weekly live performances will be organized by local artisans and music bands every Friday at the concourse level of the Ghaziabad RRTS Station from 6 to 7 pm. The inaugural event is set to take place on July 26, 2024.

Location and Accessibility

The musical performances will occur in the unpaid area of the concourse near gate number 4 of the Ghaziabad RRTS station. These events are open to all commuters free of cost, making them easily accessible for everyone.

Purpose and Participation

According to a statement by the NCRTC, ‘Namo Bharat Unplugged: Live Musical Fridays’ aims to provide a platform for emerging bands to reach a wider audience while creating an engaging and lively atmosphere for travelers. Solo performers, school and college bands, and other up-and-coming musical groups from the National Capital Region (NCR) are encouraged to contact the NCRTC team to secure a spot.

About NCRTC and the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Corridor

The NCRTC is a joint venture company of the Central government and the states of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. It is responsible for the construction of the 82-km long Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut corridor, which is being developed at a cost of over Rs 30,000 crore.
