Ghaziabad News: As Ghaziabad prepares for New Year’s Eve festivities, the local traffic police have rolled out a comprehensive advisory to ensure order and safety on the roads. The advisory emphasizes strict restrictions on unauthorized parking at 19 designated locations, including popular spots like Shopprix Mall, Indirapuram Habitat Centre, and Radisson Blu UP Gate.
Authorized Parking Encouraged
Visitors are strongly urged to utilize authorized mall parking facilities to avoid penalties and potential towing of their vehicles. The Ghaziabad traffic police have stationed personnel at these locations to enforce the advisory, making it clear that illegally parked vehicles will face stringent actions, including fines and towing.
Celebrations Restrictions on Designated Roads
In addition to parking regulations, the advisory outlines restrictions on celebrations along specific roads, including Hindon Elevated Road, Eastern Peripheral Expressway, Delhi Meerut-Expressway, and the Raj Nagar Extension road. These measures aim to maintain order and prevent disturbances that may arise from large gatherings and festivities.
Crackdown on Drink Driving
To address the issue of drink driving, the traffic police will conduct checks using breath analyzers at various locations. Stringent actions will be taken against individuals found driving under the influence of alcohol or engaging in dangerous stunts on the roads.
Coordination with Noida Traffic Police
In collaboration with the Noida traffic police, a detailed traffic management plan has been devised for New Year’s Eve. This includes restrictions on parking in specific areas such as Atta Chowk near DLF Mall, GIP Mall, and City Centre, with limited entry routes to the Sector 18 market.
