Ghaziabad News: The Police administration is on high alert mode for the upcoming Chhath Puja and Dev Deepawali festivals. Following the Chief Minister’s directives, the police commissioners of all three districts have been instructed to make robust security arrangements for Chhath and Dev Deepawali.
The city authorities have decided to implement special security arrangements for the protection of women at all Chhath ghats in the city during the grand festivals. Plans are underway to deploy an Anti-Romeo squad, ensuring heightened vigilance.
Police officers conducting reviews:
Apart from the districts and commissionerates, police officers are conducting reviews regarding the preparations for Chhath and Dev Deepawali, with reports to be sent to the headquarters. Additionally, a review of traffic diversion and congestion management strategies is underway.
Stringent Action Against Traffic Violators
The Ghaziabad Commissionerate is committed to taking strict action against those who violate traffic rules during the festivals. An Anti-Romeo team will be on alert in the markets, ensuring public safety. The team will be dressed in plain clothes, and surveillance will extend to ensure compliance with traffic rules. Simultaneously, timely investigation of pending cases will be prioritized, and a comprehensive review of criminal activities will be conducted during crime review meetings.
