Ghaziabad News: In a distressing incident at a wedding function in Ghaziabad, a 26-year-old waiter, Pankaj Kumar, lost his life after plates he was carrying accidentally touched some guests, leading to a fatal altercation. The Uttar Pradesh police have arrested three individuals, Manoj Gupta, Amit Kumar, and an unnamed person, in connection with the incident.
Pankaj’s body was found the following day near Garhi Kattaiya village, showing signs of severe head injuries. The suspects allegedly threw his body into bushes out of fear. The investigation unfolded after Pankaj failed to return home, prompting his mother to seek police assistance.

In a widely shared video on Twitter, hotel staff and bouncers are shown running after guests with sticks, belts, and rods in an attempt to beat them. Some people can be seen laying on the ground to protect themselves, and others can be heard screaming in fear, especially women and children.
The local police made nine arrests and filed charges against fifteen to twenty persons shortly after the incident gained attention on the internet. The family asked that the DJ night continue till approximately two in the morning, Ghaziabad Rural DCP Ravi Kumar told India Today. When this was challenged by the hotel personnel, there was a fight.
“Pankaj was tossed on the ground and suffered severe head injuries. Fearing that the waiter was dead, the guests dumped his body into the bushes,” police said.
