Lok Sabha Elections 2024: BJP makes strategy to regain foothold in THESE 14 lok sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh

Uttar Pradesh: The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Uttar Pradesh (UP) has set a target of winning all 80 seats in the state for the next year’s Lok Sabha elections (2024). In this episode, the first priority of BJP is to win those 14 seats, which the party could not succeed in winning in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Programs of veteran leaders of the party will be organized continuously in these 14 areas. Out of 80 Lok Sabha seats in UP, there are 14 such seats, which the BJP could not win in 2019. However, after winning the Samajwadi Party (SP)-dominated seats like Azamgarh and Rampur in the by-elections, the party’s morale has increased.

Out of 80 seats in the state, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Sambhal, Rae Bareli, Ghosi, Lalganj, Jaunpur, Ambedkar Nagar, Ghazipur, Shravasti, Mainpuri, Saharanpur and Nagina seats are still held by non-BJP parties. Of these, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has MPs on 10 seats, SP MPs on three seats and Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Rae Bareilly seat. A senior BJP leader told that the party has assigned the responsibility to 4 Union Ministers Narendra Singh Tomar, Annapurna Devi, Ashwini Vaishnav and Jitendra Singh to assess their strength, weakness, challenges and threats on the lost seats. These ministers have given a report to the party after assessing these areas in the first phase.

Responsibility assigned to ministers

In order to coordinate between the organization and the government on these 14 seats, BJP’s state general secretary Amarpal Maurya, experienced by the organization, has been appointed. To test the preparations of the party. State President Bhupendra Singh Chowdhary gave responsibility to the office bearers to win all the 80 Lok Sabha seats in the state in the working committee of BJP held in Lucknow last month. In this episode, along with political and social equations, the party has started meeting with the beneficiary groups of various schemes of the Central and State Government and dialogue with the active sections of the society from the core committee, booth committee.

Where he had a direct dialogue with ex-servicemen, booth committee and people from prominent sections of the society. BJP State President Bhupendra Singh Chowdhary said that ‘In the booths where the political results did not come in our favor in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, we are establishing dialogue with the public by identifying those booths through booth empowerment.
