Lucknow News: Dress Code in many places especially temples have been a norm in many states comfortably accepted by people. A son of a Former Mayor has started to fight against the so called ‘Elite Club’ Dress code against the clubs that strictly allows people to follow dress code while entering inside the club. The Mayor’s son has written to the District Magistrate to take action against all those clubs that are running with the Colonial Rules which humiliate Indians.
‘I was denied entry because of my Indian Outfit’
Prashant Bhatia was denied entry in a club because he was wearing Kurta Pyjamas. He felt hurt and humiliated and said that our Prime Minister promotes our culture in the entire world wherever he travels. He travels in an Indian Attire only and no country has ever objected to his Dress Code. We live in the same country and banning particular clothes is really ‘unfortunate’.
‘I will fight against the Colonial Mind set’
He adds that he has decided to fight against the mindset of such people that looks down on Indian Clothing. Its been 75 years since our country became Independent and if Indian clothes are not allowed in these clubs, I will write to the Chief Minister, Defence Minister and raise the matter at every possible place.
