In response to the festive season, Section 144 will be enforced in Lucknow for ten days, spanning from December 24 to January 2, 2024. This temporary measure is designed to regulate public gatherings, ensuring a harmonious celebration.

The district administration, in collaboration with Lucknow Police, emphasizes that ticket sales and access to public spaces must adhere strictly to designated capacities. This includes malls, bars, restaurants, hotels, and other entertainment venues. To prevent inconvenience to the general public, organizers are entrusted with managing sound levels from loudspeakers within set parameters.
Strict Enforcement: Consequences for Violators
Stringent actions will be taken against violators of Section 144, treating any breaches as a serious offense. In addition to legal consequences, relevant authorities will address violations according to the appropriate laws in place.

Organizers and managers of public spaces are tasked with prominently displaying notices about the imposed restrictions outside their premises.
