Mainpuri By-Election: Dimple Yadav to file nomination today; Will the daughter-in-law be able to continue Mulayam’s legacy?

Mainpuri By-Election: Dimple Yadav, the leader of the Samajwadi Party, is all set to submit her nomination on Monday to contest the election in Uttar Pradesh’s Mainpuri Lok Sabha district.

Her election is viewed as an attempt by the SP to keep up the legacy of her father-in-law Mulayam Singh Yadav on the seat, which has been a fortress for the party since 1996. Her selection is also viewed as an effort to bring party cadres together before the byelection.
