Meerut News: In the village of Dhanpura, located in the Merath district of Uttar Pradesh, a shocking incident unfolded on the evening of October 25. The lifeless body of labor Rajmistry Indrashekhar was found hanging from a tree.
Indrashekhar’s hands were tied with ropes, and his chest bore bloodstains. Additionally, his feet had been subjected to violence, with nails embedded. The police learned about the incident when the criminal made a phone call to report the crime and admit to the shocking act – murdering Indrashekhar and suspending his body from a tree, requesting the authorities to collect the body.
The Motive Behind the Murder
The victim, Indrashekhar, was working on the construction of a house owned by Vijaypal in Dhanpura village. According to media reports, Indrashekhar had been working at Vijaypal’s residence for several months, during which the powerful Vijaypal had withheld around 2.5 lakh rupees from his six months of wages. Following this, Indrashekhar decided to stop working at Vijaypal’s house.
The Tragic Turn of Events
Vijaypal negotiated with Indrashekhar, asking him to settle the outstanding payment. As a result, Indrashekhar agreed to return to work at Vijaypal’s residence. On the afternoon of October 25, Vijaypal, after withdrawing money from the bank to make the payment, took Indrashekhar with him.
In the fields, Vijaypal and his associates bound Indrashekhar, brutally beat him, shot him in the feet, and eventually strangled him to death. The police have arrested the main suspect, Vijaypal, and are actively searching for the other culprits involved in this gruesome crime.
