Namo Bharat Rapid Railway: For those traveling on the Namo Bharat trains along the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor, there is an important update. Starting May 20, the operating hours of Namo Bharat trains will be extended until 10 PM to enhance passenger convenience. According to the new schedule, the Namo Bharat train service will be available from Monday to Saturday, 6 AM to 10 PM, and on Sundays from 8 AM to 10 PM.
Currently, Namo Bharat trains operate from Monday to Saturday, 6 AM to 8 PM, and on Sundays from 8 AM to 8 PM. The extension of the operating hours aims to improve passenger convenience.
8 RRTS Stations on the 34 km Route
Presently, Namo Bharat train services operate on a 34-kilometer-long section with 8 RRTS stations from Sahibabad to Modinagar North. The Delhi-Meerut RRTS corridor spans 82 kilometers, and construction work on the remaining sections is progressing rapidly.
PM Inaugurated the Second Section in March
Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the second section of the Namo Bharat train from Duhai to Modinagar North via video conferencing on March 6. Following this, the train began operating for the general public on March 7.
The 34-kilometer corridor in Ghaziabad district, from Sahibabad to Modinagar North station, includes a total of 8 stations: Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai and Duhai Depot, Muradnagar, Modinagar South, and Modinagar North.
