The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has introduced a comprehensive policy enabling the rental of NCRTC/Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) premises and Namo Bharat trains for various purposes, including events and film shootings. The policy outlines specific charges for hiring operational stations in Ghaziabad, including Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai, and Duhai Depot.
According to NCRTC officials, the booking charges are fixed at ₹2 lakh/hour for reservations inside Namo Bharat trains and RRTS stations, ₹3 lakh/hour for the booking of both Namo Bharat trains and a station, and ₹2.5 lakhs/hour for depot/site bookings. This initiative not only serves as a revenue-generating option for NCRTC but also provides scenic value to films, advertisements, documentaries, and other projects. The state-of-the-art trains and the picturesque views along elevated corridors add unique visual appeal to such shoots.
