Noida Authority Takes Strict Measures to Prevent Traffic Jams and Accidents

Delhi Traffic Advisory

Noida News: In a bid to prevent traffic jams and accidents, the Noida Authority has implemented strict measures against parking buses on roads. Both school and private bus operators are now prohibited from parking their buses on the streets. Violators will face fines, and their buses will be impounded.

This move comes after Noida Authority CEO Dr. Lokesh M expressed his dissatisfaction three weeks ago when he noticed school buses parked in an empty field in Sector-25A. He issued directives to address the issue promptly.

Notice Issued Under Section 10

A traffic cell official stated that notices are being sent to schools and private bus operators, instructing them not to park buses on roads. So far, around 27 schools have received notices to park their buses within their premises. Schools failing to comply will be issued notices under Section 10, which includes the provision of canceling the school’s land allotment. All school and private buses are to be parked in the transport hub located in Sector-69.

Over 1500 Private School Buses Registered

Authorities revealed that more than 1500 private school buses are registered in Noida, with an equal number of private bus operators’ school buses. Additionally, vans are available for school children, arranged by parents as per their preference. Although schools are currently on vacation, strict enforcement of this order will commence in July. Stringent action will be taken against those who park buses on the roads.
