Noida News: The Noida Authority conducted its 214th board meeting at Pickup Bhawan, Lucknow, on July 12, 2024. Mr. Manoj Kumar Singh, the CEO of Noida Authority and the Chief Secretary and Commissioner for Infrastructure and Industrial Development, Uttar Pradesh, presided over the meeting. The meeting provided citizens of Noida with a number of encouraging information regarding the city’s progress.

Review of Stalled Real Estate Projects
In a significant move, the board reviewed the long-standing issue of legacy stalled real estate projects. This step aims to address and resolve the challenges faced by numerous homebuyers and developers.
Extension for Residential Plot Allottees
Good news for allottees of residential plots! The board decided to provide an extension of time for the construction of buildings. For Noida farmers, an important decision was taken to grant an additional 3-year extension, making it a total of 5 years from the date of the lease document. This will facilitate timely completion without any financial burden.
Formation of BIS Study Committee
To ensure standardized development and construction, a committee has been formed. This committee will study the ‘Standardized Development and Building Regulations, 2023 (SDBR-2023)’ prepared by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Government of India. It will also consider points sent by Invest UP and present a comprehensive report to the board.
New Memberships for International Golf Course
Exciting news for golf enthusiasts! The board reviewed the progress of the under-construction International Golf Course in Sector-151A. After evaluating the latest status, the board agreed to commence new memberships, opening doors for more people to join.
Development of Wildlife Park in Sector-91
In a bid to enhance the city’s green spaces, the board decided to develop a wildlife/deer park in certain parts of the Biodiversity Park in Sector-91. This initiative aims to create a natural habitat for wildlife and offer a recreational spot for residents.
