Sources indicate that this could potentially be the last such scheme by the Greater Noida Authority as there is no more available land for housing projects.

Greater Noida Authority Announces Group Housing Plots Scheme After 13 Years

It’s noteworthy that in 2009-10, the Greater Noida Authority had allocated a substantial amount of land for group housing projects. However, since 2010, the Greater Noida Authority has not introduced any group housing schemes, possibly due to a lack of available land. Additionally, the land allocated a decade ago is yet to be fully developed.

The e-auction date will be decided later

Officials have stated that these plots will be allotted through e-auctions, with the highest bidder securing the plot. The e-auction date will be decided later. These plots are located in sectors like MU, Omicron, Eta, Sigma, 36, and 12.

Developers will be required to make full payment for the entire land within 90 days. They must also complete the project as per the approved layout plan and obtain occupancy certificates within seven years from the date of execution of the lease deed.

The smallest plot, a 3.5-acre plot, is located in Sector 36, while a 4.5-acre plot is in Sector MU, a 7.5-acre plot in Omicron 1A, and a 7-acre plot in Sector Eta 2. Two plots, 7.5 acres and 9.5 acres, are situated in Sigma 3. There are two plots, 5.5 acres and 8 acres, available in Sector 12. The last date for applying for the scheme is February 27, 2024. The successful bidders will be given possession within 30 days. The land rates range from INR 36,500 per square meter to INR 48,300 per square meter.
