Noida News: The religious pilgrimage known as the Kanwar Yatra, in which followers gather holy water from the Ganga River, is about to take place. The Noida Traffic Police has taken a number of significant actions to guarantee an uninterrupted and secure journey for Kanwarias (pilgrims).
DCP Traffic Noida on Kanwar Yatra Preparations
Speaking to ANI news agency on Kanwar Yatra preparations, DCP Traffic Noida, Anil Kumar Yadav, shared important updates. “Coordination meetings have been held in all the regions. Internal meetings of our departments have also been held. Traditional routes of the Kanwar Yatra have been identified and cleanliness and facilities will be ensured on the same. Our traffic diversion plan has been prepared in coordination with Delhi and Ghaziabad. It will be implemented after a comprehensive plan has been prepared,” he stated.
Ensuring Smooth Traffic Flow
To ensure a smooth flow of traffic during the Kanwar Yatra, a detailed plan has been devised. One side of NH91 will be dedicated to the Kanwar Yatra, while the other side will be used for regular traffic.
Monitoring NH24 and Key City Points
The main connecting points between NH24 and the city will be continuously monitored. Plans have been put in place to keep an eye on these important intersections in order to avoid any traffic jams.
Setting Up a Control Room
To further manage the entire process, a control room has been established in the district. The traffic diversion strategy will be smoothly implemented thanks to the coordination between this control room and multiple departments. Along with managing any emergency, it will give the public real-time updates.
