Noida News: Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) has approved the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the proposed Sector 142 to Botanical Garden Metro section. This expansion, marked by eight new metro stations and spanning approximately 11.56 kilometers, is set to redefine connectivity between Noida, Greater Noida, and Delhi.
Key Milestones and Metro Station Plan
Crafted by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), the DPR received a green light during the 38th board meeting of the NMRC. The strategically planned metro stations include Botanical Garden, Noida Sector 44, Noida Office (Sector 96 Noida Authority Office), Noida Sector 97, Noida Sector 105, Noida Sector 108, Noida Sector 93, and Panchsheel Balak Inter College.
Enhanced Connectivity and Operational Significance
Upon completion, this metro route will offer seamless connectivity, allowing commuters to travel conveniently from Delhi to Greater Noida. The extension of the Magenta Line will also directly link to Indira Gandhi International Airport, opening up connectivity to New Delhi and Anand Vihar Railway Stations via the Blue Line.
Cost Estimates and Project Highlights
