Noida News: In a significant move to enhance urban settlement, the Yamuna Authority has started providing power connections from three newly operational substations across various sectors of the city. These connections cater to domestic, industrial, institutional, and commercial needs. As a result, 1,068 allottees in the residential sectors 18 and 20 of Yamuna City have already received electricity connections.
Operational Substations and Connections
Dr. Arunveer Singh, CEO of Yamuna Authority, emphasized the importance of electricity availability for initiating any construction work. The substations in sectors 32, 24, and 18 are now operational and rapidly providing connections. The 220 kV substation in Sector 18 has issued domestic connections to 106 allottees.
Similarly, the 220 kV substation in Sector 24 has provided power connections to major companies like Vivo and Patanjali, with several other companies’ connections in the pipeline. The 220 kV substation in Sector 32 has connected major firms such as Surya Global and Bikaner, with many industrial units now operational.
This development is a significant step toward fostering urban growth and supporting the infrastructure required for residential, industrial, and commercial activities in the Yamuna City region.
