Non-bailable warrant issued against SP MLA Irfan Solanki

Samajwadi Party (SP) MLA and former minister Azam Khan has recently been convicted for giving provocative speech. The court sentenced him to three years in this case. His legislature has also been cancelled. Meanwhile, another SP leader seems to be in trouble. In fact, a local court in Uttar Pradesh has issued a non-bailable warrant (NBW) against Samajwadi Party MLA Irfan Solank and his younger brother in a case of rioting and arson. Officials have given this information on Thursday.

Joint Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Anand Prakash Tiwari said that the special MP-MLA court issued a non-bailable warrant against Solanki and his brother Rizwan on Wednesday after registering a case at Jajmau police station.

Search is on to nab the Sisamau MLA and his brother

Tiwari said that the search is on to nab the Sisamau MLA and his brother. These people have gone underground to avoid arrest. Tiwari said that several police teams have been formed to raid all possible hideouts of the MLA and his brother. Another official said that it has been decided to initiate action to attach the properties of the MLA and his brother if they do not surrender before the court or the police.

On November 7, police booked Solanki and Rizwan for rioting and arson following a land dispute with a woman. The woman accused them of burning her house. This FIR was registered on the basis of the complaint of Nazir Fatima of Defense Colony Jajmau in the city. Fathima had said that she owned a plot of 535 square yards in the posh Defense Colony, where she had been living since 1986. He alleged that the MLA and his brother have grabbed about 200 square yards of his land.

Here, officials said that Abhishek Shukla, station house officer of Jajmau police station, was suspended for not taking action against the SP MLA and refusing to consider the woman’s complaint.
