A constable from Adarsh Nagar Pindi village here was beaten to death by bullies. The goons barged into the constable’s house and beat him badly with sticks. The relatives took him to the hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

According to information, Vishwajit alias Raju Prasad is working in Jaunpur Police. He had come to the village after taking a few days leave. In the evening he went to Pindi Bazar. Shortly before the market, he had just come home that seven to eight people with sticks and sticks entered his house and started beating the constable badly. The goons beat the constable so much that he died.

SP Deoria Sankalp Sharma told that the body has been sent for postmortem. The cause of death will be known only after the report comes. Further action will be taken on this basis.
