As Thursday afternoon unfolded, the Ram Lalla idol found its place in the sanctum sanctorum, accompanied by the resonant chants of prayers. Arun Dixit, a priest integral to the consecration ceremony, shared insights into this sacred placement, emphasizing the spiritual significance of the event.
Prime Minister’s Presence Marks Consecration
Come January 22, during the auspicious ‘Abhijith Muhurta,’ the idol will be formally installed in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, as announced by Sri Vishwaprasanna Teertha, Trustee of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. This momentous occasion will be an integral part of the consecration ceremony, adding a national resonance to the spiritual proceedings.
Inauguration Amid Security Measures
In adherence to stringent security measures, only invited guests will be granted access to the temple on the inaugural day. Udupi Pejawar Mutt’s Sri Vishwaprasanna Teertha affirmed this precautionary step, ensuring a smooth and secure commencement of the consecration festivities.
Public Access Post ‘Pran Pratishtha’ Ceremony
