A serial killer who has been on the prowl in the district has caused fear among locals, leaving the Barabanki area of Uttar Pradesh shaking with fear. According to the Uttar Pradesh police, the serial killer appears to be targeting older women in the area as his victims.
In the Barabanki area of Uttar Pradesh, a serial murderer has allegedly raped his victims before killing them as he has done with three other older ladies. The UP Police have also made a sketch of the serial killer public and asked for help from the general public if anyone sees him.
Six police teams are actively looking for the murderer. According to officials of the Barabanki police, he has been accused of killing older women who were his targets.
At the same time, police asked for information on the suspect by posting a photo of him on social media. According to reports, the murderer has so far killed three people. The SP will take control of the Barabanki serial killer case as a result of the situation’s intensification.
The Ayodhya district received a report of the initial event on December 5, 2022. The victim, 60, left home to go to work in the Mawai area’s Khusheti village. After the family members reported her missing to the police station when she didn’t return till dark, a search was started.
One day later, on December 6, the woman’s body was found, and there was nothing covering it. Similar to the first victim, the body of the second victim, a 62-year-old lady, was discovered with no clothes on and numerous injuries.
Similar to this, a 55-year-old woman’s body was discovered on December 30 in the village of Thatharha, 3 km from Ramsnehighat Kotwali. Officials claimed that the murderous patterns were similar. The woman had been sexually assaulted prior to the murder, according to the post-mortem results.
The police have issued a warning in the area, advised everyone to exercise caution, and circulated a sketch of the Barabanki serial killer since he preys on vulnerable victims like elderly women.
