UP CM Yogi Adityanath Honors Kargil Heroes, Announces Rs 50 Lakh Compensation for Soldier Families on 25th Vijay Diwas

On the historic 25th Kargil Vijay Diwas, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath paid tribute to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their life in defence of the country. CM Yogi gave a speech at the Smritika War Memorial in Lucknow, expressing his sincere appreciation and respect for the Kargil War soldiers.

Tribute to Kargil Heroes

CM Yogi Adityanath paid homage to the martyrs of the Kargil War, acknowledging their ultimate sacrifice for the country. “Today, on the occasion of the 25th Kargil Vijay Diwas, I salute the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the nation. Their bravery and dedication are an inspiration to all of us,” he said.

Government Support for Soldier Families

CM Yogi made a big declaration emphasising the state government’s dedication to helping military families. “Our government has made a provision that a family member will receive a government job and compensation of Rs 50 lakh if a soldier loses their life in a war or while defending the borders,” he said. The courageous warriors and their families will always have the support of the state government.”

Ongoing Support and Commitment

CM Yogi reaffirmed the state’s unshakeable support for the soldiers and their families, saying that the state would always be there for them. “We are dedicated to standing with our brave soldiers,” he said. We will always remember their sacrifices and provide for their families in whatever manner we can.”

Earlier today, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath laid a wreath at the Smritika War Memorial in Lucknow, paying tribute to the soldiers who fought valiantly during the Kargil War. His gesture was a poignant reminder of the courage and dedication of the Indian armed forces.
