UP News: Helicopter Services to Ease Travel for Ayodhya’s Pran Pratishtha Ceremony

With only a week left for the grand Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya on January 22, 2024, preparations are in full swing. Among these preparations, a helicopter service between Lucknow and Ayodhya will commence from January 19, 2024, to facilitate the movement of VIPs and devotees attending the event. This initiative aims to provide an additional transportation option, making it convenient for Ram devotees to reach Ayodhya.

Notably, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the first international airport in Ayodhya on December 30, 2023, and additional transportation facilities, including the Vande Bharat train for Darbhanga and Anand Vihar for Ayodhya, have already been introduced.

Helicopter Services in Ayodhya:

The Ayodhya Information Department has confirmed the deployment of a total of six helicopters, with three operating from Lucknow and three from Ayodhya. These helicopters will be operational from January 19, taking off from Ramabai Maidan in Lucknow. Each helicopter can accommodate 8 to 18 passengers.

According to the department’s statement, “Services will commence from Ramabai Maidan in Lucknow on January 19. These helicopters have the capacity to carry passengers ranging from 8 to 18, and devotees are required to pre-book their helicopter rides.”

The statement further mentions, “The booking schedule and fares will be finalized by the evening of January 16. The helicopter journey between Lucknow and Ayodhya can be completed in 30-40 minutes.”
