Lucknow: In a significant step towards strengthening the state’s environmental and infrastructure sectors, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath distributed appointment letters to 647 forest guards and wildlife guards, along with 41 junior engineers. These appointments were made as part of the recruitment process conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC).
During the distribution event, CM Yogi Adityanath emphasized the importance of the newly recruited personnel in preserving Uttar Pradesh’s forests and wildlife. He highlighted the state’s ongoing efforts to enhance environmental conservation and address infrastructural challenges.
Reinforcement of Environmental Protection and Infrastructure Development
The recruitment of forest and wildlife guards is seen as a crucial move in protecting the state’s rich biodiversity. With increasing concerns over deforestation and wildlife protection, the appointment of these new guards is expected to boost conservation efforts in the region’s forests and wildlife sanctuaries.
Additionally, the recruitment of junior engineers will play a key role in advancing infrastructure projects in the forest department, ensuring the implementation of sustainable development practices.

CM Adityanath also reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to providing employment opportunities for the youth of Uttar Pradesh while simultaneously addressing the state’s ecological needs.
