UP School news: Officials announce closure of schools in Meerut and Baghpat due to cold

UP School news: The year has come to an end, but the cold has also reached its height. Cold is causing problems across the country, from the plains to the higher hills. People are suffering significantly as a result of the cold, which is becoming increasingly severe. In consideration of this, holidays have been announced in several cities throughout the country, including Meerut and Baghpat in Uttar Pradesh.

UP School news: Schools will be closed in Meerut and Baghpat

Due to the growing cold, all Baghpat district schools from class 1 to 12 would be closed until January 7, according to DM Rajkamal Yadav’s instructions. In addition, all board schools in Meerut will be closed until January 1. According to sources, parents of students in grades 1st to 12th demanded vacations due to the cold, therefore the decision was made on Monday and the holiday was declared.

District magistrates in numerous districts of Uttar Pradesh have ordered the closure of council schools from classes 1 to 8 for the next one or two weeks. According to the news, no regulation regarding winter holiday in UP private schools has yet been issued. However, due to the increased cold, some private schools have declared a 10-day holiday beginning with the new year.

Fog may also increase in upcoming days

The cold continues to wreak havoc in North India. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature may drop further in the next two days after plunging from 7 degrees. Fog may also increase as a result of this. School breaks have been declared in states across the country due to the growing cold.
