The incident of human sacrifice of a 10-year-old child has created a stir in Uttar Pradesh. Due to superstition, the relative brutally killed the child by slitting his throat. A person named Krishna Verma of Parsa village of Bahraich district lives with his family. They have a 10 year old son named Vivek Verma.

Krishnavarma had a relative named Anoop in the same village. Anoop has a two and a half year old son. The young man has been suffering from mental illness for some time. Despite the treatment, there was no benefit. In this sequence, Anoop contacted a Tantrik. The sorcerer told him that a human sacrifice would make everything better. Anoop, who believes in tantrik, kidnapped Vivek Verma along with Tapa’s uncle Chintaram on Thursday night.
Taking him to a deserted place, he strangled him to death. Later they fled from there. But when Vivek went missing, his father Krishnavarma lodged a complaint with the police.
Police immediately reached the spot and started searching for the boy. In this sequence, the dead body of Vivek Verma was found in the field near the house. Investigation was started by registering a case of murder. In this background the real thing came out.
It is learned that Anoop, who believed in the sage’s words, sacrificed Vivekavarma. Baraich SP Prashant Verma revealed that the magician as well as his helpers Anoop and Chintaram have been arrested.
