Viral Video: A 35-year-old guy was killed on the side of the road Friday night after a dispute over parking outside a restaurant in Ghaziabad. The victim, Varun, is shown on the ground after being beaten in a terrible video of the assault that was captured by a spectator.
Varun ran a dairy company and resided close to the restaurant. His father was a former Delhi police officer.
Varun parked his car outside the restaurant yesterday night, according to witnesses. The car was parked in a way that prevented the doors of the car next to it from opening. Varun and the people in the other car got into a fight over this. The argument quickly turned into a battle, during which Varun suffered severe attack.
Varun is seen on the ground surrounded by individuals who attacked him in the crime’s viral footage. One of them is seen using a brick to smash his head. The 35-year-old was taken to the hospital in a hurry, but he passed on the route.
The public murder has raised questions about Ghaziabad’s law and order situation and the police department’s inability to stop street violence.
Five teams are searching for the suspect, according to the police, who have reported that a case has been filed. However, the victim’s family has complained about inaction and protested at the neighbourhood police station.
The incident has also drawn attention to the consumption of alcohol in roadside restaurants in Ghaziabad, which has recently been linked to an increase in violent crimes.
