Yogi Adityanath: Double-engine govt gave Rs 30,000 crore for Ayodhya

Reiterating his resolve to establish Ayodhya as a religious, Vedic and spiritual city with world-class facilities, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday said the BJP’s “double engine” government would destroy the birthplace of Lord Ram. Will develop as a global tourist destination. The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone and inaugurated 46 development projects in Ayodhya to be built at a cost of Rs 1057 crore.

CM Yogi said that the state and central government have approved projects worth Rs 30,000 crore for the development of Ayodhya. He said, “The double engine government is committed to the all-round development of this city. The government will not only promote the religious, cultural and spiritual importance of Ayodhya but will also develop basic facilities for the welfare of its residents.”

CM also distributed keys and certificates to the beneficiaries

The Chief Minister said, “Not only will we move forward spiritually and culturally, we will also establish new paradigms of physical development. For this purpose we all have come here. Today India is moving towards becoming a superpower of the world. India’s prestige has increased on the global stage. On this occasion, CM also distributed keys and certificates to the beneficiaries of various schemes of the government, apart from checks of assistance amounts.”

Addressing the enlightened people, the CM said, “We all have to envision our strategy for Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh and India to make the India of our desire by the year 2047.” Referring to the development of Ayodhya, the Chief Minister said that under this Smart City Mission, the roads of Ayodhya are being widened, hanging wires are being repaired and basic facilities are being provided to the citizens.

Before 2017, Ayodhya used to be shrouded in darkness

The CM said that apart from this, arrangements for proper bus stands are also being made. Hitting out at the previous governments in the state, Yogi said, “Before 2017, Ayodhya used to be shrouded in darkness. However, today the city is lit up with LED lights and there is uninterrupted power supply. Haridwar ki Har Ki Like Paadi, Ram Ki Paadi is being developed in Ayodhya.”
