The chief minister called an important meeting with his ministers on Tuesday after arriving back in Lucknow from Delhi. Jewar Airport Compensation for Farmers

In a move to support the construction of the Jewar Airport in Noida, the government has approved funds to compensate farmers for the land acquired. This step is crucial in ensuring that the project progresses smoothly, addressing land acquisition issues and maintaining goodwill among the farming community.

Lakhimpur District Airport Approval

The cabinet has approved the construction of a new airport in the Lakhimpur district, thereby increasing the state’s aviation infrastructure. This project is expected to advance regional economic growth and connectivity, supporting the state’s larger goal of expanding its transport infrastructure.

Major Boost to Medical Research and Healthcare

Medical Research Centre and Super Speciality Hospital in IIT Kanpur

The decision to create a medical research unit at IIT Kanpur was a major highlight of the meeting. Furthermore, the government has approved the construction of a super speciality hospital with 500 beds. These programmes seek to improve healthcare and medical research, which will benefit the general public as well as the academic community.

Consistent with the emphasis on healthcare, the government is dedicated to enhancing the facilities of government hospitals throughout many districts, including Kanpur. Increased Investment in Transmission Infrastructure

Rasra, Ballia Transmission Substation

Additionally, the budget for the Rasra, Ballia, transmission substation has been approved by the cabinet to increase to Rs 537 crore. With this investment, the power infrastructure will be strengthened and the region will receive a more dependable and effective supply of electricity.

When CM Yogi Adityanath got back to Lucknow, he met with his ministers and emphasised that all ministries needed to perform better. He made it clear what needed to be done in the next 100 days and that ministers would be held responsible for the outcomes.
