Vande Bharat’s Popularity

Passengers still choose the Vande Bharat train because it is punctual and travels quickly to its destination. This train was originally scheduled to travel on the Jan Shatabdi route by the Railways. In order to do this, the train had to depart from Saharanpur and travel via the Tapri railway station. Railways had also provided the officials with a potential schedule for this, but the train stoppages were altered following media coverage of the story. There used to be just three stops maintained between Dehradun and Tapri, Meerut, Haridwar, and Delhi.
