Woman Attacks Auto Driver with Slippers After Ride Refusal

In the Viral Video, the irate woman can be seen confront the auto driver-he reportedly refused to take her as a passenger-she started hitting him repeatedly with her slippers. Onlookers just watched powerlessly while the argument escalated into heated moments. The driver was visibly stunned, but he tried to defend himself verbally but did not retaliate physically.

Initial reports would indicate that the incident arose when the woman asked an auto driver to drive her to her destination. She was refused for not known reasons, provoking her to respond with extreme violence. A yet another Viral Video debate has been brought onto public discourse as once again people are reacting to the behavior of service workers and the manner in which they are treated as many have complained that such an action was totally unwarranted and excessive.

Social Media Divides Over Auto Driver Viral Video

Saurabh Bahuguna, who uploaded the clip on social media, captioned the post: “Female goon beating poor Auto driver in Aurangabad Just because he refused to give her ride . Men silent fearing outrage, legal terrorism in women’s favour. Time to teach such women terrorist lesson with utmost rage” It already evoked a number of reactions-many to criticize the driver, while others bring out a point that an auto-rickshaw walla has every right to refuse ride if he does not want. Others say perhaps there was some reason that the woman was so angry.

According to report, law enforcement is already aware of the occurrence and is trying to find out details about the case. Now that the video keeps coming, it raises a broader concern-the trend of incidents that are escalated into fight which were caught on camera and distributed all over the internet, leading to another round of discussion on public courtesy and civility in daily life.
