Shocking Discovery at Baghpat in Viral Video

Within minutes of opening, DM Singh was shocked to see no food license number or any proof of authenticity on the bottle, thus raising his suspicions over foul play. He instantly called officials from the Food Safety Department for a probe into the purity of the water. Assistant Food Safety Department Commissioner Manvendra Singh questioned the officer-in-charge at the police post, who revealed that the adulterated bottle had been purchased from a shop in Gauripur.

Further questioning by the Food Safety Department brought in more dangerous information. The case led to Bhim Singh, Gauripur, who was running an unlicensed warehouse from his house and selling fake bottled water to shops all over the district. Resultantly, 2,663 bottles of spurious water were seized and ultimately disposed of. In addition, the tainted water samples were sent to a laboratory for testing to clear public space.

The Unlicensed Warehouse Exposed

Along with the seizing, a challan was also issued against Singh for running that business without proper licensing, and the warehouse was ordered to close. This case makes it evident how critical food safety measures are in addition to adherence to laws, specifically since they are trying to prevent consumer harm through perhaps harmful products. Such speed by the DM and the Department of Food Safety reminds one about the vigil always needed for the fight against this flow of spurious goods entering the market.
