Manish, the deceased person, was a snake-catcher. Manish was holding the cobra with both hands when the horrifying episode happened, but as soon as his hold slipped, the snake bit him. While his companion was operating the bike, Manish was seated in the passenger seat.

When the cobra bit Manish, the victim’s friend can be seen stopping the motorbike in the footage. The latter makes an effort to stand up while still holding the snake, but after making a few steps, eventually gives up.
