Duration of Celebration

The Hola Mohalla celebration is celebrated with the intention of promoting bravery, solidarity, love, and brotherhood around the world.
Mock Battle Spectacle
Youth at Anandpur Sahib Gurdwara performed the martial art of “Gatka” as a part of the “Hola Mohalla” festivities. Notable is the fact that today, on the second day of Hola Mohalla, the Sikhs put on an amazing exhibition of their art by acting out a mock battle. Seventeenth Century Tradition
The celebration of Hola Mohalla was initiated by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the tenth Sikh Guru. Hola Mohalla celebrations date back to the seventeenth century. Its principal aim was to establish a society characterised by self-discipline, warrior qualities, and spiritual proficiency.
Morning Prayers and Procession
