20 most-valuable technology brands in the world.

The world’s most valuable brands have seen their total brand value increase by 5.9% despite the economic, social and personal impacts of COVID-19, according to the 2020 BrandZ Top 100 Most Valuable Global Brands ranking released by WPP and Kantar. The total brand value of the Top 100 global brands reached US$5 trillion, equivalent to the annual GDP of Japan. It has increased by 245% since 2006, when the total brand value first reached US$1 trillion.

Adobe:
Adobe is changing the world through digital experiences. Its creative, marketing, and document solutions empower everyone—from emerging artists to global brands. According to BrandZ, Adobe is on the 35th position with a total brand value of $35,904 million.

Amazon:
Amazon has consolidated its position as the world’s most valuable brand, boasting a 32% increase on last year to reach $415,855 million. According to BrandZ, Amazon has topped the list of most valuable brands accounted for $415,855 million

Apple:
Apple prides itself on creating pleasing and intuitive experiences for its customers with products that are elegant, yet simple. At the second position is Apple that has a brand value of $352,206 million.

Microsoft:
Bill Gates and Paul Allen found Microsoft, a company that makes computer software. Satya Nadella-led Microsoft is at the third position with a brand value of $326,544 million.

Google:
Google was founded in September 1998 by Larry Page and Sergey Brin while they were Ph.D. students at Stanford. Ranking 4th is Google, with a brand value of $323,601 million. 

Alibaba:
Alibaba Group Holding Limited is a Chinese multinational technology company. It has a total brand value of $152,525 dollars as per the report and ranks sixth.

Tencent:
Tencent had a brand ranking of 7th with a total value of $150,978 million. And has a brand value of $147,190 million and ranked 8th.

Facebook:
Facebook, American companyoffering online social networkingservices. Facebook was founded in 2004. Mark Zuckerberg-led Facebook has a brand value of $147,190 million and ranked 8th.

AT&T:
As per the BrandZ parameters, AT&T has a total brand value of $105,833 million and ranked 11th in the overall list of most valuable brands.

Verizon:

IBM:
The Computing-Tabulating-Recording Company, the precursor to IBM, was founded on June 16, 1911.  It  is on the 14th position with a total brand value of $83,667 million.

SAP:
As per the report, SAP has a total brand value of $57,578 million and is on the 17th position in the overall list of most valuable brands.

PayPal:
PayPal, American e-commerce company formed in March 2000 that specializes in Internet money transfers. According to BrandZ, PayPal is on the 23rd position with a total brand value of $48,453 million.

Spectrum:
As per the report, Spectrum has a total brand value of $42,917 million and is on the 28th position in the overall list of most valuable brands.

Instagram:
Instagram began development in San Francisco as Burbn, a mobile check-in app created by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger. According to BrandZ, Instagram is on the 29th position with a total brand value of $41,501 million.

Accenture:
As per the report, Accenture has a total brand value of $41,437 million and is on the 30th position in the overall list of most valuable brands.

Deutsche Telekom:
According to BrandZ, Deutsche Telekom is on the 32nd position with a total brand value of $37,297 million.

Intel:
As per the report, Intel has a total brand value of $37,257 million and is on the 33rd position in the overall list of most valuable brands.

China Mobile:
China Mobile has a total brand value of $34,583 million and is on the 36th position in the overall list of most valuable brands.

Youtube:
According to BrandZ, YouTube is on the 37th position with a total brand value of $33,976 million.
