Apple: On September 12, 2023, Apple has planned a big event for Apple Park. It’s rumoured that Apple will switch from its Lightning connectors to USB Type-C ports, which makes this event more intriguing. Additionally, according to a Bloomberg story, Apple is anticipated to introduce updated AirPods with a USB-C charging case during its upcoming event on September 12. Users will now have access to quicker and more practical charging alternatives thanks to the move, which is considered a way to streamline Apple’s product selection.
Apple AirPods with USB Type-C
The EU approved the Common Charger Directive in October 2022, and it will go into effect in 2024, mandating Apple to transition to USB-C for charging iPhones and other devices. Apple must abide by this directive. Apple is also impacted by the directive in India.
The new AirPods’ style, features, and pricing aren’t available as of right now. It’s unclear if the upcoming AirPods will be the fourth generation of AirPods, which debuted in late 2021, or a new iteration of the AirPods Pro, which debuted in September 2022.
