Apple iOS 17: Apple revealed the release date of iOS 17 at the iPhone 15 announcement event. According to the corporation, the most recent version of iOS will be available for public download beginning September 18. This follows Apple’s announcement of the new software version at the WWDC developer conference in June, followed by the release of the first beta on July 12. Apple iOS 17 new features
Standby mode
A new feature in iOS 17 will allow more objects to be displayed on the locked iPhone screen while charging. This new standby mode will turn the screen into a smart display while charging. In addition to the time and date, it will show live activity and visits. Siri can now be accessed by saying, “Hey Siri!” There is no need to speak, either. While horizontally charging, the phone will automatically go into standby mode.
Journal App
Apple’s own Journal App is included in iOS 17. This allows users to keep a record of their daily activities and ideas. Journal, a new iPhone app, will be available before year’s end. On-screen technology is used by journals to provide recommendations depending on the user’s habits.
Namedrop
With the new NameDrop function, users will be able to easily share contact information with other devices by holding them close. Even large-sized images and films can now be shared via the SharePlay API, simply by putting the devices closer together.
iMessage update
The Message app will receive new filters in iOS 17. iOS 17 will now transcribe audio messages.
